I think that since the Nazis didn't defeat the British, and then declared war on America... they pretty much sealed their fate. However, the Nazis were in the process of developing their own nuclear weapon by using heavy water from Norway. The Americans luckily were able to make one well before that became a reality. That's a pretty good question Suzanne.. because what would have happened if there was a DDay invasion but the Soviets decided to join with the Nazis?
I disagree with you mckenna i believe that the Nazis could have handled the americans and the british because of the fact that they would have been able to channel the fight to one front and it would be the germans sheer power against the rest of the world. if the nazis didnt win the war they would have held most of europe forever.
